This game about how to train your own monster to be The great fighter. 

And train you gonnna be patient person, because need patiently to play this game.  

Okay i will give you some walkthrough to play this game.

First, when you play new game and after create your own character, go to the market, and buy 1 monster, the option is Zuum, Suezo, and Mocchi. But in your carrer, you just can get Zuum, Suezo, Mocchi, Arrow Head, Hare, Gaboo, Durahan, Dragon, Wracky, Mock, Joker, Zilla, Centaur, Phoenix, Bajarl, Ghost, Ducken, and Jill.

But, how about Pixie, how about Naga? that is the problem. the solution is Shrine. This place is use to get the rare monster. Do you know how to use Shrine? if you don't know here is the step:

1.  go to the shrine and talk to Chaille.

2. and when she asking you just like in the left, chose Disc Stone.

3. then insert random CD and push x button, then waiting until "reading the data now" is complete, reinsert Monster rancher 2 CD's and push x button.

 4. and let's see monster you get.

But in one case, Chaille is say, "I regreet about that, the Monster is..." bla bla bla.. Is meaning your year is still not enough. So you must playing much longer and longer.. and can open the Monster. Or you can use the Gameshark or AR replay but that's CHEATING!!!!

Second, after yo get the Monster this time to train your monster and go to the ranch. I will give you how to make you monster is long live until 6-7 year. when your monster is still 0-1 years old, always give him/her tablet when in the week 1. and always give you monster mint leaf in week 2 and week 4. mint leaf can you buy it in the shop. Then, week 1, week 2, week 4 use it to train your Monster or battle, week3 is use to rest. Don't chose Hi Drill when you Monster is still 0-1 years old because it's make your monster fast to die. And about Errantry, use it when your monster 5 month years. and to make your monster diciplince, don't give what he wants, NEVER. beacuse it's make your monster Doting. But give your monster wants one or twice to make your monster is not stress out.

Okay, now you can playing Monster Rancher 2.^^.

now, let's we talk about rare monster can we get not from Shrine.

1. Wracky 

Play up until around you get to S or A class. A fan will give you a doll.Colt will not like it but keep it anyway.It will start moving to different places on the ranch.When one of your monsters die the doll will come to life and turns into Wracky.Colt gets to pick the name though.(Note: This monster is very strong in Int. and Spd. but very weak in everything else.)

 

2. Mock

The item shop keeper will sometime give you some seeds. Colt will plant them and after some time they will grow into a tree. Then another one blooms after some years and then it dies the next week. Then a Mock will appear to Holly and she will most likely name it Gonzalez.

3. Durahan

To unlock the Knight monster Durahan you must go on the ParePare expedition and find the sheathe. Keep this item in your inventory for awhile, talk to Colts aunt and she'll tell you stories about sword theft. You will later be invited to a battle, 1-on-1 with a Durahan. For winning you'll receive the double edge which can be used as a secret seasoning to acquire Durahan. !!! NOTE !!! your Monster MUST be a class A monster, any higher or lower and you will not be able to compete in the cup

4. Dragon

Train a monster to B rank (no lower,no higher) and wait until June and dont do any errentry or you will not get the invite. In June/July you will reciev a invitation to a tournamet on August week 2, there is only 1 monster, a Dragon, he has very high stats for a B rank, if you win you will receive a Dragon Tusk, Use this as a Secret Seasoning to get Dragon.

5. Phoenix

a man will appear on the 1st day of a month and ask you if he could use your monster for an adventure to a volcano to find a rare monster say yes then colt will come with him and your monster go to the cave then something will appear in the air (phoenix) then when your monster got in he could find a feather combine any monster then use the feather as secret seasoning the phoenix will be the monster. if it flew away after 3 years you can get another on the pocahontas the movie1 vcd

6. Joker

This is tricky have a monster with lots of life and inteligance and must be B rank OR HIGHER,go on the Kawrea adventure and find the large altar.Luckely you will find the Joker Mask.Combine with this item to get Joker.WARNING IT DOES NOT LIVE LONG AND ONLY HAS 7 TECHNIQUES ALTOGETHER.

7. Zilla

Get to 4th breeder rank. Raise a hopper to B class or higher (I reccomend you do this with the same monster you get to rank four with). The hopper will dig up "hot springs" in the winter months. This will unlock Undine and Niton. Then, get yourself to rank six (again, if possible, same monster) with a B or higher monster. Send a monster to Torble Sea. They will warn you about a water monster. After completing the four basic drills there, you will fight a monster. You will randomly fight "Zilla King" (who is very powerful. LIFE:684 POW:841 INT:310 SKI: 396 SPD:155 DEF:787). Beat him and get a Zilla Beard. Use in combining to get a zilla.

UNLESS YOU LIKE LOW SKILL MONSTERS, DO NOT RAISE THE COMBINED ZILLA! COMBINE IT WITH A TIGER OR A JELL AND THEN USE IT! I DO NOT RECCOMEND THE PURE! 

8. Centaur

Finish the whole Power Errantry. Your monster should find a spear. When you return you will be challenged by a very strong Centaur. If you don't have a strong monster your monster will be seriously beaten up. After the fight the Centaur runs away but leaves his spear.Combine any 2 monsters with the spear as the secret seasoning and it will say Centaur 100%. It learns very powerful moves.
